SCHOOL AWARDS DAY CEREMONY CELEBRATES STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS

On 17th March, we held our annual Awards Day ceremony to recognize the outstanding achievements of our students over the past academic year. The ceremony was held in our auditorium and was attended by students, parents, teachers, and staff members. We held two ceremonies, in the morning; we had the junior school function and, in the afternoon, we held the high school function.

The event kicked off with a welcome speech from Mr Sam Turya, the school principal, who thanked everyone for attending and congratulated the students on their accomplishments. The principal highlighted the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance in achieving success, and encouraged the students to continue striving for excellence in all their endeavours.

The ceremony then proceeded with the presentation of awards and certificates to deserving students in various categories. These included academic excellence, sports, music, drama, leadership, community service, and more. Each award was announced by a member of the school faculty, who shared a brief description of the award and the criteria for selection.

As the names of the winners were called out, the audience erupted into applause and cheers, and the proud parents of the students took pictures and videos of their children receiving the awards. The students themselves were beaming with pride and joy, as they walked up to the stage to receive their certificates and pose for the camera.

In addition to the individual awards, the ceremony also recognized the achievements of the school as a whole, and the collective efforts of the students and teachers in making it a success. The principal thanked the teachers and staff members for their hard work and dedication, and acknowledged the role of the parents and community in supporting the school's mission.

The Awards Day ceremony concluded with a closing speech from the guest honour, who once again congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. The students left the ceremony with a sense of accomplishment and pride, and a renewed motivation to pursue their goals and dreams.

Overall, the Awards Day ceremony was a great success, and a testament to the talent, hard work, and dedication of the students, teachers, and staff members. We congratulate all the award recipients, and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
