Liberty Kuza School Challenge with Liberty Life Insurance Launches Exciting Business Challenge for Students at Kabojja International School
Liberty Life Insurance is excited to announce the launch of the Liberty Kuza School Challenge, a dynamic school-wide business challenge aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and business acumen among students. The challenge will provide a platform for students to develop and pitch their innovative business ideas, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving.
The Head of IB School & Ag Head of Cambridge is enthusiastic about this new initiative. “We believe that cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit is crucial for our students' future success. The Liberty Kuza School Challenge will inspire them to think outside the box and gain valuable experience in planning, teamwork, and financial literacy,” said Ms Anna Sundell.
The Liberty Kuza School Challenge will allow students to work in teams or individually to develop a business plan from start to finish, focusing on areas such as:
- Business Idea Generation: Students will brainstorm innovative business concepts based on current market needs or community challenges.
- Market Research: Teams will analyse their target audience, competitors, and industry trends to validate their ideas.
- Financial Planning: Students will learn how to develop realistic budgets, forecasts, and strategies for managing resources.
- Pitching and Presentation: Finalists will present their business proposals to a panel of local entrepreneurs, teachers, and business leaders.
The challenge is open to students from Year 7 -13 with prizes awarded to the top-performing teams. Participants will have the opportunity to receive mentorship from local business leaders and further develop their ideas. The grand finale will take place on Sat 12th October 2024, where teams will pitch their proposals in a competitive showcase.
“Through this challenge, students will not only gain practical business skills but also learn the value of perseverance, collaboration, and leadership,” added Ms Anna Sundell. “We hope this challenge ignites a passion for innovation that will stay with them for life.”
